Full course description
Upon completion of this course, the CNA will 1) be familiar with the most recent state and federal guidelines for keeping infectious diseases at a low rate in their facilities; 2) understand best practices for preventing and managing infections and keeping them from spreading; 3) understand the importance of implementing and following policies procedures for infection prevention and control, in order to see continued improvement.
Approval Statement:
The course content has been reviewed and has been approved for 1.0 CEs for Certified Nurse Aides. The Health and Human Services is approved to provide CNA in-service education by the State of Texas per Texas Administrative Code §556.9.
