COURSE DESCRIPTION
This educational session delves into the transformative journey of perinatal and neonatal research. With over 30 years of experience in high-risk perinatology, neonatology, and pediatrics, Dr. Pickler will guide participants through a brief history of perinatal and neonatal care, explore her extensive program of research focused on high-risk mothers, infants, and families, and discuss future challenges and priorities in the field.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
The instructor for this course is Rita Pickler, PhD, RN, FAAN.
Rita Pickler is The FloAnn Sours Easton Professor of Child and Adolescent Health at The Ohio State University College of Nursing. She has an educational and research background in high-risk perinatology, neonatology and pediatrics.
For over 30 years, she has focused her work on the care of preterm infants and their families, as well as on efforts to reduce prematurity and improve maternal, child and family outcomes.
